Mission: Serves as the principal staff office responsible for managing all civilian personnel administration, operations, and advisory services for the installation. Coordinates, recommends, and provides professional management advice and assistance in areas such as recruiting and personnel management; training and awards programs; military personnel support; records management; mail and official distribution; forms and publications; Freedom of Information/Privacy Act; and CAC Card’s. Serves as the Installation Adjutant.

Military Personnel Support

Responsible for managing military personnel operations and advisory services for assigned and attached military personnel to include personnel actions, strength reports, awards, and official unit mail support. .

  • Responsible for all civilian personnel management to include the preparation, review and coordination of all personnel actions.

  • Manage the in/out processing of all new team members. Provide instructions to new team members on the completion of all required forms. Schedule exit interview with the Installation Commander and provide guidance to departing employees.
  • Coordinate the Quarterly New Team Member Orientation and Tour. Affords new team members an opportunity to meet the Installation leaders and tour the Installation.
  • Manage the civilian training program. Coordinate all training requests with IDP and signature authority.
  • Manage the newly developed e-Learning Training Classroom. This affords employees the opportunity to take computer based training in a quiet classroom environment.
  • Provide administrative advice and civilian personnel services to the Installation program
    directors.
  • Coordinate Quarterly Admin Training meetings where administrative policy and guidance is shared and new topics are discussed.
  • Manage the civilian awards program. Coordinate QSI Review Boards, maintain all certificates and medals, and prepare and process awards accordingly.
  • Coordinate Management Employee Relation (MER) issues and prepare documentation as necessary.
  • Manage civilian personnel and strength data and prepare weekly and monthly reports.
  • Provide administrative support for all 15-6 investigations and all Commanders Inquires.
  • Serve as the POC for all off-site services provided by Fort Belvoir such as SJA, IG, EO, EEO, ACES, ADCO and Chaplain.

Responsible for managing military personnel, maintain records, preparing strength reports, processing awards, and unit mail support. Serves as the Installation POC for the DEERS (ID Cards) system.

  • Responsible for all military personnel management to include the preparation, review and coordination of all personnel actions.
  • Manage the in/out processing of all assigned and attached military personnel. Provide guidance on mail services and other support available.
  • Responsible for all DEERS/CAC Cards.
  • DEERS/CAC Cards are now located at the Visitor Control Center. For an appointment please call 804-633-8797.
  • Serve as the Installation Casualty Assistance Coordinator.
  • Serve as the POC for Religious services/ support. Request 60 days notice to coordinate this support.
  • Serve as the Post Locator. Maintain a directory by name, location and forwards mail after addressee has cleared post.
