Fort A.P. Hill has many ponds and lakes to add to its beauty at Fort A.P. Hill. The Environmental Department regularly stocks these bodies of water. All patrons wishing to fish on the installation must have a Virginia Fishing License and a Fort A.P. Hill Fishing Permit. All civilian anglers will be required to obtain a mandatory security check at the Fort A.P. Hill Visitor Control Center (VCC) prior to obtaining a Fort A.P. Hill fishing permit.
