| The Directorate
of Human Resources (DHR) manages the Education and Training for civilian employees, appropriated and non-appropriated fund employees.

Supervisors are responsible for updating Individual Development Plan
(IDP’s) annually for each employee.
- Employees
request training via a SF 182.
- The requested
training is compared to the IDP and processed.
- Upon return of the
approved SF 182, the employee is now able to proceed with travel arrangements,
if necessary.
- Each employee
is afforded an opportunity for 80 hours of training per fiscal year.
This includes required training,
such as Prevention of Sexual Harassment, Ethics, Consideration of Others,
and Security Awareness training. Directorates are responsible for
their training budget.
- Employees can also
receive free training through the new Army CBT Training, e-Learning.

- DHR is responsible
for annotating all completed training in the employee training database.
